Speakers: Kevin Shepherd and Monte Anderson (Options Real Estate)
As part of a grant-funded Learning Collaborative Initiative, Chaffee County is sponsoring a series of public education events focused on improving the region's fiscal, social and environmental sustainability. The October module includes the following topics:
Financial implications of different development patterns (Kevin) — understanding how development and its associated infrastructure impacts our bottom line, both personally and publicly.
Incremental development (Monte) — demonstrating how small-scale developers can help address housing affordability and cultivate a local economy.
Events will be held at various locations throughout the county on Wednesday evening, all day Thursday, and half day Friday. All events will be open to the public.
